LoverboyFriday,
August 29 - 8:00 PM In 1980, Loverboy introduced themselves to the world with their self-titled debut album. They quickly became one of America's and MTV's most popular rock bands. From 1980 through 1987, Loverboy garnered four multi-platinum albums and numerous international Gold albums. Their tours sold out arenas and stadiums nationwide. Their hit singles came one after another, and went on to become the anthems and party songs of an entire generation of rock concert fans. Loverboy's red leather pants, bandannas, and big rock sound defined the band's trademark image and high-energy live show. Loverboy quickly became MTV darlings, being one of the first bands ever featured on the music channel. Between dates (over 200 shows in 1981), the bad wrote and recorded their second multi-platinum selling album "Get Lucky." The album released in 1981 and the bands enormous touring success led to an unprecedented six Juno Awards, Canada's highest music award. This record still stands today. Loverboy celebrated 25 years together in 2005. |

Eric ChurchSaturday, August 30 - 8:00 PM Sponsored by: Wheeler Chevrolet Church's songs are as straightforward as he is. His music looks its listener in the eye and speaks plainly about the human condition. It is a line that passes through Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings to John Prine and Steve Earle. "Honesty is my number one responsibility," Church says, "If you listen to this, you'll find out who I am." A talented athlete, he played basketball, baseball and golf in high school, but in college, he turned to music, riding to regional acclaim. He wanted to move to Nashville two years before he graduated, but his dad made him a deal. He said, "If you'll graduate, I'll pay for your first six months in Nashville," which Eric thought was a pretty good offer. He graduated with a degree in marketing and his dad was true to his word. His first CD "Sinners Like Me" launched Church with a firm identity both musically and lyrically, and gave him his own niche in a diverse country landscape. Eric is nominated by CMT for "Best video from an artist's debut album." Watch for Eric's new single coming out in mid-March and his new album to be released in late July or August. |

He and his band the Statesiders, have worked concerts all over the 50 states, Canada, England and other countries.
