The High Diving Pirates from the Caribbean show is a High Diving, High Seas Adventure! The show utilizes National and World Champion divers in an exciting show that tells the story of the days when Pirates sailed the seven seas. They were in search of a place called Treasure Island where chest’s filled with Gold and Jewels were buried in the sand, the good ship Danville set sail for Treasure Island under the command of the brave Captain Kid and his (not so) loyal band of Pirates!.. The action begins when the Captain sails them into a tropical storm, they make it through the storm but while making repairs on the ship the crew becomes restless and some were even talking of a mutiny!.. What follows is an amazing display of acrobatics and comedy as our Pirates demonstrate Plank (springboard) and Mast diving (tower) comedy, clown diving and an incredible dive from the top of the 80 foot high mast to the ship.

Stick around after the show as the divers meet out front of the pool to sign autographs and take pictures!

Junior Fair Market Animal Sale

DATE: Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018
TIME: 6:30 PM
LOCATION: Jer Lang Show Palace

We would like to invite you to participate in the Market Animal Sale Auction on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018 at the Central Wisconsin State Fair. This auction is the result of months of hard work for Wood County 4-H and FFA members. The livestock offers a unique opportunity for youth to market their animals and to then expand their future livestock projects or assist with future endeavors. In addition, it offers a wonderful opportunity to support the youth of our community.
As a buyer, an effort is made to advertise and promote your involvement and support. The winning bidder for each animal will be announced during the sale. Buyers receive a complimentary photograph of the member and animal to hang at their place of business. Grand and Reserve Champions also have their pictures taken with the buyers after the sale. In addition to the advertising opportunities, this is a great opportunity to purchase high quality pork, beef, and lamb for your personal consumption or to share with family, friends, and co-workers.
All the animals are raised by our local FFA or 4-H members as a part of their project work for the Fair.
The auction starts at 6:30 PM in the Jer Lang Show Palace.
We hope to see you there!
