Campground

General Campground Information

The Fairgrounds Park Campground is generally open for reservations (weather permitting) May 1st thru October 15th annually and is closed, annually, during Fair-time events in August. Water cannot be turned on until weather permits.

In addition, the campground may be closed periodically for large events or extreme weather. Please call the Fair Office to confirm availability prior to your stay or to book your next event.

Vast space is available for camping, including 100+ sites with water/electric and over 500 spaces for primitive site camping. There is also a dump station available on the grounds.

Discounts are available for those staying 28 nights or longer. Discounts do not apply during the Fair Season or for larger camping events. Please contact the Fair office for more details.

Amenities:

  • Campsites with both power & water hook-ups are available.
  • A dump station is located between the Round Barn and Fair Office ($5 fee per use). Checks should be written out to the CWSF.

Campground & Dump-station Closure Information:

Marshfield Fairgrounds Sanitary Dump Station Closure:
The water at the Marshfield Fairgrounds sanitary dump station will be closed from October - May (depending on the weather) for the winter season.

As of October 15th, the Fairground's Campground water will be shut off and, therefore, the campground will be closed for the remainder of the Season. Water will be turned back on around May 1st, weather permitting.

Additional Information:

  • Reservation Form: You will find camping reservation forms on this page. Please choose the appropriate camping form. To verify that the campground is open to the public during your dates, please call the Fair office at 715-387-1261.
  • Payments: Payments are accepted in credit, debit, cash and check forms. Additional charges may apply for credit and debit cards.
  • Campground Rules: Per City Ordinance, we ask that all loud activities stop at 10:30 pm. Failure to comply with this ordinance could result in your removal from the Fair campgrounds without a refund. Additional campground rules can be found on the camping forms.
  • Check-In: Upon arriving you will receive a camping permit. This permit must be visible at all times, in your camper window during your stay.
  • Garbage: There are dumpsters available throughout the grounds for your garbage needs. We ask that you help us keep our grounds clean and looking nice at all times.
  • Pets: Dogs and cats are permitted on the grounds and must be tied up or on a leash at all times. Please pick up after your pets. Pets are not permitted during the Fair or other large events.
