Wonders of Wisconsin Tent

Location: WOW Tent between the Lang 4-H and the Expo I buildings.
Theme: Bats, 'Bots and Butterflies
Visit the Wonders of Wisconsin Tent to learn about these topics and make cool crafts!

Come visit the Wonders of Wisconsin Education Tent this year. Our theme this year is "Bats, 'Bots, and Butterflies." We are proud to be able to present the traveling exhibit "Pollinators: Little Helpers, Big Results," curtesy of the Paly Foundation based in Scottsdale, Arizona. This exhibit and our children's area, "Farmer for a Day" will be available all days of the fair from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Come celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau and learn what your county farm bureau has to offer. Special invitation to educators.

Bats In Wisconsin

Sharon and Dan have been promoting bat education in the Midwest since 1996. Their goal as bat educators is to inform people about the many benefits of bats.

Over the years they have owned multiple different animal to include reptiles, amphibians, and skunks, and have traveled all across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia, Virginia, and Ontario, Canada

Larry Scheckel grew up on a family farm in the hill country of southwestern Wisconsin, and has been named Tomah Teacher of the Year three times and received the Presidential Awardee at the state level for six years. He is the recipient of the Tandy Award, Kohl Award, Wisconsin Physics Teacher Award, Health Physics Society Award, Ron Gibbs Award, and Excellence in Science Teaching Award.
