Attention Livestock Exhibitors at the Central Wisconsin State Fair,
This is to notify you of a change of policy for the upcoming 2025 fair. Due to safety concerns and rising costs, the CWSF will be implementing the following guidelines pertaining to bedding materials and the way they are handled. There will be no unauthorized skid steers, tractors, or other motorized equipment allowed on fair property the month of August.
To address the overuse and rising costs of handling materials, the exhibitors will be using shavings, wood chips, etc, for all livestock except milking cows. Milking cows will be allowed a maximum of straw not to exceed 6-inches in height. Any violation of this rule will result in a no straw show in the future. We have hired a professional for the removal and clean out of the barns for change over on Thursday. Junior Fair will be released at 2:00 p.m. No cleaning will take place until one hour after dismissal. This crew will also be taking care of the final clean up. All other exhibitor guidelines associated with the livestock exhibit areas will remain the same. Thank you for your participation in the CWSF. We appreciate your cooperation as we make 2025 the best fair yet!
